2011 Grad

This is Blair. He's a 2011 Dana Hills High School Grad. He was captain of the football team, and he did track for his last semester at Dana Hills. He's hilarious and he CLEARLY loves his muscles ;)  I brought my husband along to get Blair to laugh. But that was easy since they are brother-in-laws, and Blair is my brother! Plus, I'm pretty funny too, if I do say so myself.

So check out these awesome "zoolander"-esque photos...

Meet Kane!

Bonjour! Finally I have had the time to actually sit down and write about our families new addition. This is Kane. We adopted him from the Coastal German Shepherd Rescue. He is about 4 years old, and he is the sweetest boy. Kane was a little shy in the beginning, and didn't have too much confidence. But day by day, he is opening up more and more and seems to be gaining his confidence back.
Kane, our other dog Miley, and I all go on morning walks on a nearby trail. Then usually later on in the day, we take them to the dog park. At home, Kane love to patrol the house every few hours or so. And he LOVES a good game of fetch in the yard.

Anyway, here is our sweet boy!

Baby Joseph

This is going to be a long photo post! So many precious photos. This is Baby Joseph. This is Jimmy and Amber's second son. Jimmy used to be my manager at Ruby's Diner back in the day. It was my first job! I learned a lot from Jimmy in my diner days. He now owns a really successful carpet cleaning business called Family Man Carpet Cleaning. I HIGHLY recommend him.

ANYWAY! Without further adieu, here is Jimmy and Amber's new little baby...

This is baby Joseph's big brother, AJ! He was sooo good with him.

 Proud Mom and Dad!

I love baby feet. These were no exception.

This photo is extra special because Big Brother AJ took it. He's a natural!
more feet!
The family are big Dodger fans!
MORE feet! This one is my fave.
 How precious are these two?

I bet AJ will be the best big brother. Baby Jo is one lucky little dude.

Thank you to Jimmy, Amber and Aj for inviting me into your home to capture these special photos.

I.O.U.

I owe you (my amazing clients and readers), a blog post! I have been a little MIA the last few weeks because we adopted a new dog- 4 year old German Shepherd. He's had a few medical problems since he has been with us, so I have been tending to that. AND, amidst settling the new dog into our life (and getting used to a smaller energetic dog and a cat- not an easy task!), I took it upon myself to start the overhaul on my office by painting. It took me 8 days to finish! And I still have one little area on the ceiling that I need to touch up. SO now that I am done with painting (aside from the detailing I need to do), I am BACK to work. Have a couple maternity shoots coming up. WAY excited.

By the weekend, I promise I will have finally blogged about the recent adorable newborn/family session I did.

I normally don't like to post without giving you some eye candy to look at, but I literally have not had time to upload any of the few photos I have taken in the last three weeks. Blerg. I'm a mess. haha!

Until this weekend,

Disneyland Fine Art Photographs

My husband and I have passes to Disneyland, but every time we go we just want to do the big rides and leave. This time, I really wanted to appreciate all the little details of Disneyland. There are MANY. The following photos, I captured everything from small details to special moments to parades! I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I do. I will be putting these on my site, and in the future, I will be selling them.
Enjoy!

I found this in a cute valentine's window display on Main Street.
A sweet little rose bud found in front of the castle.
When I look at this I feel as if I'm looking into Sleeping Beauties world. I picture her leaned over the bridge there looking at her reflection.
This tiny fairy house can be found in Pixie Hollow. Wouldn't you love to live here too?
 Fairy boat.
The Cheshire Cat! Can't you hear his laugh when you look at this?
This is one of my favorites of the collection. I love the colorful lanterns and the colors of the tea cups. I REALLY love that I accidentally captured a cute moment between the couple in the tea cup :)
I don't usually do this kind of color work because I think it's too "photoshop-y" in most circumstances, but this is art, and this photo is ALL about Alice and her blue dress.
These two photos (above and below) were taken just at the right place at the right time. We saw Ariel and Sleeping Beauty rushing through the park to get to their spot. So me and about 5 little girls followed them. I was able to capture these two princesses walking and talking with Ariel. It was so precious, and I'm happy that I was able to capture that.

Oh to be a Disney Princess.
 Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

 Celebration at Disneyland
 The Partners

A pretty chained off garden in the court yard of Main Street. This garden area always holds the giant Christmas tree during the holidays and the giant Mickey Pumpkin during Halloween.
This is the not so secret ice cream window next to the lockers on main street. It's out in the open, yet there never seems to be a line. Unless this window is closed, you will never find me in the mile long Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor.
I love the ghostly guests in this photo.
